The International Congress of Oral Implantologists’ World Congress XXIX is set to celebrate 40 years in the Sunshine State of Florida September 20-22, at the World Center Marriott Hotel in Orlando. According to this year’s theme, dental professionals will gather to share the latest in innovations, complications and controversies in implant dentistry.

Leading clinicians, laboratory specialists and auxiliaries will host workshops, discussions and present from the main podium on topics such as digital impressions, management of soft tissue esthetic complications, treatment planning, solutions for complex esthetic challenges and much more.

Looking to enhance your standard of care for even more patients with mini dental implants (MDIs)? Consider attending a pre-congress course 8:00 a.m. to Noon Thursday, September 20 before ICOI officially kicks off.  Dr. Louie Al-Faraje is presenting, Small Diameter Implants for the Modern Implant Practice: Treatment Options and Indications for Fixed and Removable Prostheses.

Learn about the options for patients who are contra-indicated to conventional implant treatment because of a variety of reasons such as, general health condition, available bone volume and financial limitations. Dr. Al-Faraje will cover the differences between MDIs and conventional implant protocols, how to utilize CT technology for proper treatment planning, keys for long term success and more for treating this growing population of patients.

In addition, be sure to stop by the 3M ESPE booth (#500) in the exhibition hall to say, “hello!” and to see the latest products in minimally invasive implantology that help to stabilize dentures with fewer costs and in less time than traditional implants.

Want to master the basics of minimally invasive implantology, but can’t make it to Orlando? Don’t worry! We are traveling the country and presenting MDI One-Day Certification Seminars nationwide – from New York to San Diego.  Check out when the next MDI seminar is taking place in town near you.

What are you most looking forward to in Orlando? Hopefully it’s not your family stop at Disney World!
