To Print, or Not To Print

With product offerings that number in the hundreds, we understand that it’s important to help dentists quickly find what they’re looking for. We’re currently in the process of producing the latest version of our product catalog, and we’re excited to be adding some new search functions on the electronic version that will make finding what you want simpler. With this new platform, you’ll be able to type in keywords like “easy self etch” or “quick cement” and find more relevant results.

Putting the catalog together is no small feat, and neither is printing it. As more product orders and inquiries are taking place on our website, I wonder how many of you still like to page through the printed catalog. Our sales reps tell me that we absolutely must continue printing it, but I suspect that’s because they like having something shiny to hand out to you. But do you find it useful? I can accept that it’s probably not as much fun to page through as the latest bestseller, but I want to know if it’s something you keep for reference—or something you deposit directly into the circular file.

We suspect that more and more of you are using iPads, Kindles or other e-readers to access web content. Would you like to see our catalog in this format?

      Hi Paula
We are working on several “apps” for Apple Platform products. Stay tuned, 3M ESPE will deliver.
      Thanks for your post.
