Starting in 2013, the impressive resin nano-ceramic CAD/CAM material, Lava™ Ultimate Restorative now falls under the CDT Code’s broadened definition of porcelain/ceramic materials, thus allowing Lava Ultimate restorative to be classified as a ceramic – like other milled porcelain/ceramic materials – allowing for the same rate of reimbursement.

The findings were published in the 2012 Dental Industry Review and based on new product approvals and international patents.

Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, 2013 will be full of crowd-favorite speakers, cutting-edge procedures via live dentistry demonstrations, courses to boost CE credits, top-notch entertainment and much more. The Hynes Convention Center in Boston will be surging with high energy, education and dental innovation. The result: improving oral health care to help individuals live healthier lives.

Give Kids a Smile Coming Close to Home

Thousands of children in Minnesota face barriers to obtaining oral health care across the state. It isn’t only a problem in the Midwest; it is a problem that affects the nation as a whole.

I’ve discussed the amazing generosity of Give Kids a Smile in other parts of the country, but now that kindness is returning home to Minnesota for the 11^th consecutive year, February 1-2.

Greater NY Dental Meeting Recap

The 3M ESPE team had an outstanding time at the Greater New York Dental Meeting. We took part in “Learning in the Round” hands-on seminars, proudly showcased the 3M™ True Definition Scanner and networked with some of the brightest minds in the oral health industry.

3M ESPE Headed to the “Big Apple”

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, many members of the dental community will be headed to New York City for the largest healthcare and dental event in the United States.

Over fifty thousand dental professionals will descend on the “Big Apple” for six days of continuing education, networking and to see the latest technology and dental products to help enhance their patients oral health, Nov. 23-28.

Changing Lives Through Oral Health Care

You may have noticed that 3M ESPE launched an inspirational campaign this summer that just wrapped up at the end of September. It was called, “Make a difference. Change a life.”

We know dentists use Filtek™ Restoratives to change lives every day, but we wanted to hear from our loyal customers, the personal stories of how they were using Filtek to enhance their patients’ lives for the better. What we heard was unbelievable.
